Diamond Head in the Distance

In Honolulu you can go up to a very high vantage point and see a great view of Diamond Head.

There is a park on 'round top' and I have painted there many times. 

This painting was started on site. I finished it today in studio. I am thrilled that it has the same feeling as being on location, the awesome site  of mammoth Diamond Head
